THE MOST AMAZING NIGHT OF MY LIFE
Wow. That's all I can say to it. Wow. Gavin DeGraw is one of the most talented people in the entire world, maybe in the history of mankind. He can definitely be my baby's daddy. The concert was amazing. The show was just, wow. When we were waiting to be let into the show, I was sitting on the floor because I was tired of standing, and guess who peaked around the corner of the hallway with one of his roadies??!! HOWIE DAY!!! He looked right at me and kind of smiled when I jumped up really fast and then he disappeared back around the corner. No one saw him but me. It was hott. So is he. Teetz didn't even see him, but he's always oblivious to the important stuff. Missy Higgins performed first - I had never heard of her before but I really loved a lot of her music, so I downloaded some songs just so I can see if I like enough of them to buy the cd. She sang for about half hour or so and I was pretty impressed, and she has a cool accent because she is from Australia. Then Howie came out next and WOW. I know I said I liked Gavin the best and I still do, but WOW. I definitely have to get his first cd but last time I was at Best Buy they didn't have it. I may have to do some more searching. And when he sang "Collide" at the very end I cried of course and Teetz didn't make fun of me for crying for once. I think he probably would have cried too if he wasn't such a manly-man. It was so awesome. and the pictures came out GREAT. BUT THEN THE MOMENT I WAS WAITING FOR.....GAVIN CAME OUT AND IT WAS SO AMAZING I CAN'T STOP TYPING IN CAPS. Okay, I am sure that will get annoying so I will try to contain myself. He came out and started right in with "Just Friends". I cried again. It was so amazing. And it was general admission so everyone was squished up against the stage (we sat in seats though, right center across from the stage) AND GAVIN WALKED OUT INTO THE CROWD!!!!! It was so awesome, he got swarmed but he went on both sides and I was just so impressed with his stage presence, it was awesome. He didn't sing "Nice to Meet You (Anyway)" or "More Than Anyone" but I am okay with that because he sang "Follow Through" and every other song I love on the cd. Before this, "I Don't Wanna Be" was a song I could take or leave, and then Bo Bice sang it on American Idol and made me hate the song...It's sad when you can ruin a song I don't even like...But when Gavin sang it live, OH MY GOD, IT WAS AMAZING!!! I love that song now as much as I love all the others...Except "Chemical Party" I still can't get behind that one. But the best part of the whole night is still to come!!! After the show Gavin was signing autographs for anyone who'd purchased a t-shirt! I got to talk to Gavin DeGraw! He signed my shirt and I got my picture taken with him and I pretty much was like, "Gavin, you don't even know how much fun I had or how awesome you are, I totally love you" and he was so sincere in talking to everyone, he looked everyone in the eye, was so polite and was asking people how they were and saying thank-you, and he called me sweetheart. That's the best part right there, that I got a picture with Gavin DeGraw and he called me sweetheart. *Sigh* I know I said earlier in another post that Howie could be my baby's daddy and Gavin could just sing to my baby, but I changed my mind, Gavin can be my baby's daddy and Howie can sing. I had so much fun and of course I went with Teetz, and that's a good thing because I don't think most people understand me quite like Teetz does (even though sometimes even he is at a loss for words with me) but he is probably the only person who could have dealt with my insane freaking out, and still loves me anyway. Yeah, it was pretty much the best night of my life, it was that fucking awesome. The whole show was just awesome, and it was so awesome. I can't stop smiling, smiling is my favorite. I want to see them again. Maybe if they come to Kansas City I can drag Teetz down there with me, I would sell a kidney to see them again.

Sarah, dear, I'm afraid your statement about Gavin DeGraw's talent depends entirely on your definition of the word. Just kidding. I'm glad you had such a good time.

Well JohnRoss I think your definition of talent might be the one that's wrong darling, because Gavin deifnitely has it...he was AMAZING. I noticed I have used caps quite a bit in this post. I should stop that. And I did have a good time and so did Teetz and we didn't fight the whole time, it was great. We should go to concerts together more often.
Thanks Amanda, it really was AWESOME. Darn it, I did it again with the caps. Oh well, I feel like shouting right now anyway :)
